Mayor Jun H. Choi of Edison, NJ issues proclamation honoring Bamboo Shoots

Mayor Jun H. Choi of Edison, NJ issued this proclamation honoring Bamboo Shoots:





Proclamation: Office of the Mayor

WHEREAS, The Bamboo Shoots will be performing during the post-walk celebration in support of the 8th Annual Michelle Offsie Memorial Walk for Hope on June 7, 2009 at the Community Campus in Edison, New Jersey; and

WHEREAS, the Walk for Hope is a nation-wide fundraising effort in support of breast cancer research, treatment, and education programs at City of Hope; and

WHEREAS, The Bamboo Shoots won mtvU's 2007 Artist of the Year Award for Best Music on Campus--performing on Late Night with Conan O'Brien and signing with Epic Records; and

WHEREAS, The Bamboo Shoots will be releasing their debut album, Armour, later this year,

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Jun H. Choi, MAYOR OF EDISON, NEW JERSEY, do hereby recognize

THE BAMBOO SHOOTS

And encourage all residents to honor them for their hard work, dedication, and talent.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of Edison to be affixed, this Seventh day of June, in the Year Two Thousand and Nine.
